We have been busy working on the exhibition that will already be happening next week! There has not been enough time to take many photos that are not related to the exhibition project… This week I’m going to do some studio shoots just for fun, and I hope I’ll get some of those images posted here later. Some from last week you’ll find clicking the Studio Photos -link. To help myself think something else I decided to develop an old film from last summer that had been waiting for getting developed for the whole Autumn. You can see the images under Lappi Lapland -link!
When the exhibition is over, I will post some images of the exhibited works on my blog. For now I can just say that I would be terribly pleased to see you all in the private view which is on the 9th of November, 18-20! Look for more info and some taster images here:

I will be holding a group exhibition with three other students in December. This is what it is about:
“OUT OF THE GREY is an exhibition that brings together four photographers exploring various aspects of the grey area that unites the worlds of the body and the mind. The division of the physical and the mental is present in one form or another in the works of all contributing artists.
From abstractions to sound installation, the exhibition uses a wide variety of techniques to create a multilayered image of its theme.”
My personal work will be about the shapes of the human body, which are at the same time both individual and universal. I am interested in the idea of the subjective and the general, ‘me and the world around me’.

Summertime moments..

Hope you are all enjoying the Autumn! Southern England has been very warm till this week, but the first rainy days are here now, and everything feels and looks more grey than before. I thought I would finally add some summer pictures on my blog.. It’s nice to look at sunny images when the sky is dark. Click “sum time” -link to find them.
The Autumn has started with lots of project briefs at the uni. At the moment most of my thoughts gather around our group exhibition project. On the first week of December, there will be 10 photography exhibitions happening around Rochester, Chatham, and the Medway area. Since then, we are going to be working hard. 
I will be needing quite a few models for my exhibition work, that has to do with the human shape and the limitations of our body. I will be shooting in the end of October and start of November. I’m looking for different people, maybe you could help me out? More information will be posted here soon!

Images of Seduction
Fashion and advertising… Wherever we go we see images around us, whether we are at home, at work or on a journey. Advertising is a powerful tool, I have learned. It takes part in all the areas of our life. It tells about the products on sale, but it also tells a lot about us, the consumers. We are told what we want to be told. And yes, we do know that, but often are just too lazy to care… ?

Snow, snow snow…
Inspired by my friends’ example, I decided to start a photo blog. I will add old and new pics, as I get on with my photography uni projects. Feel welcome to browse through and comment.
It was snowing big time in England for a couple of days this weekend, and I was trapped in Bromley South Station for the whole Sunday night, because all the train services were suspended… I had to stay in a cute little hotel in Bromley, which allowed me to walk around in the snowy, calm Bromley for the whole Monday. I only wish I had a camera with me… Everything was magical: English houses covered in snow, huge trees under a heavy white blanket, even the artificial lights on the buildings looked amazing. Everything was quiet. If I only had my camera…
